The Lost Symbol-review#3

This time, I read half part of this book.

The Stories so far, Robert Langton lived a quiet life as a professor of religious symbolism at Harvard University. In the evening, the NFL playoff match was held, and capital residents set their sights on TV to support the local Washington Redskins. On Sunday morning, Langdon swam through the Harvard University pool for 50 round trips as usual. After that, when I returned home, there was a message on my answering machine from a friend and secretary of Freemason's 33rd-ranked top executive, Peter Solomon. When I turned around, it was a request from Peter to give a keynote speech on behalf of the speaker who was suddenly ill. In addition, Langdon is required by Peter's secretary Arthur to bring with him the valuables he had deposited many years ago. It was a sealed small box. Langdon heads to the United States Capitol Building <National Sculpture Hall> in Washington, D.C.

Although Peter was setting up the airplane, Langdon arrived at the beginning of the talk at 7 pm and jumped into the hall. However, as usual on Sundays, it is full of tourists and it is not like giving a lecture. Langdon is embarrassed. A human wrist that is cut off with <rotunda> is found as if to hit it down. On his wrinkled wrist, a golden ring representing a Freemason member that Langdon often saw was shining, and his tattoo was engraved on his finger. Langdon is convinced that Peter's wrists belong to him and realizes that something is happening to him. When I called the telephone number written on the facsimile, Peter's secretary Arthur was found to be a fake, a mysterious man who abducted Peter. "Unleash the ancient gates in this city tonight." Langdon, who doesn't know what it is, is confused, but the mysterious man says that Peter chose Langdon.
