Henry and Mudge and the long weekend

Henry was thrilled.
He gave his parents a big hug.
He gave Mudge a big hug.
"What a weekend," said Henry.
The king gave him a big lick.
"And what a great king!"(p.40)

Today I read a book called "Henry and Mudge and the Long Weekend"
Henry and Mudge are stick inside on a yucky winter day. It is starting to look like it will be a long boring weekend, but then Henry's mom has a great idea. With a little work and imagination Henry and Mudge make something fit for a king!
